Walking our dog is often a highlight of our day giving us the chance to unwind and spend quality time together. When your dog needs to be kept on the leash for safety, choosing to use a harness is almost always the best option!
Unlike collars, harnesses protect your dog’s trachea when they pull, are safe with all lengths of leash, and give you greater control!
Axaeco’s 4 Season line, our most popular collection, features three harnesses designed for everything from daily walks to trekking adventures.
- Harness Power
A padded Y-harness built for comfort and unrestricted movement. - Harness Broad Peak
A secure safety harness with an added belly strap to prevent escape. It’s also useful for dogs who need extra help to walk or overcome obstacles. - Harness Fit
An evolution of the Harness Power, featuring an adjustable neck to accommodate dogs with unique or hard-to-fit body shapes.
All 4 Season harnesses are equipped with integrated reflective 3M™ strips, that make your dog extremely visible in low light and poor visibility weather. Whether you’re night walking holding a flashlight, or encountering unexpected traffic, reflective gear can make all the difference.
The Black & Lime 4 Season Line also includes matching accessories:
- 4 Season Elastic Leash
- 4 Season Leash (S or L)
- 4 Season Collar (S, M, L)
- Thor Leash
- 4 Season Bungee Cord

How to Choose a Walking Harness
Any harness used with a leash will have some level of effect on a dog’s body, no matter how well it’s designed. However, choosing the right harness can make all the difference to your dog’s comfort and physical wellbeing. Look for a harness that meets the following criteria:
- Free shoulders: The harness should not restrict the natural movement of the shoulders.
- Harness straps placement: Straps should rest on the dog’s bone structure, not on soft tissues, to support healthy vascularisation and avoid discomfort.
- No pressure on the trachea: The neck area should remain completely free from compression.
- No armpit chafing: Straps should sit comfortably away from the sensitive underarm area.
- Good stability: The harness should remain in place during movement, which is facilitated by balanced weight distribution (symmetric harness).
- Appropriate chest plate width: It should be narrower than the natural width between your dog’s front paws.
- Safe strap placement: Chest straps shouldn’t press on the floating ribs ribs, this last pair of ribs are not connected to the sternum making them weaker and more prone to damage from the pressure of a harness.
- Flexible materials: The harness should follow the dog’s movements without rubbing or creating pressure points.
